Beta

Known issues

Honest limits while the site is in beta. Last reviewed August 2026. Report something missing from this list via About → Feedback (maintained by Walter Vijayakumar).

Notes live only in your browser

Highlights, bookmarks, and study notes are stored locally. Clearing site data or switching browsers removes them unless you export a JSON or Markdown backup from Notes.

Study assistant needs a capable device

The on-device assistant downloads a language model the first time you open it. Older phones or low-memory tabs may be slow or fail to load.

Interactive charts lack full non-visual parity

The Scarlet thread graph and some Reformation charts are visual-first. Text summaries and tables are provided, but not every connection is listed in prose. See the accessibility remediation plan below for what we are building next.

Translation coverage varies

Not every translation includes every book or chapter. If a passage is missing, try another translation from the reader menu.

Beta UI still shifting

Reader study layout, help pages, and some Library surfaces may change as we simplify onboarding. See the feature stability table below for what is dependable today.

Accessibility remediation plan

Visual study surfaces include text alternatives where charts or maps are used. Remaining gaps are noted below; report others via About → Feedback.

  • Scarlet thread Complete: Connection table and downloadable JSON on the graph page.
  • Bible map Partial: Searchable place index with regions, sample verse links, and book cross-references below the map; keyboard marker navigation under review.
  • Reformation charts Complete: Argument tables on the will-debate page mirroring chart nodes and links.
  • Timeline Complete: Era cards and book lists in semantic document order; theme filters narrow the visible era list.

Progress is noted on the changelog, here, and on the library hub.
